Born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in a small town in New Mexico, Paul Dominguez has deep roots in the Southwest. His family moved back to New Mexico when he was just two years old, and he is proud of the experiences and values instilled in him during his formative years there. Graduating from a local high school, Paul Dominguez credits his upbringing in New Mexico for shaping his work ethic, sense of community, and his drive to help others.

Coming from a family of professionals, Paul Dominguez was inspired early on by his parents’ dedication to success and service. His father, a former college athlete and long-time dentist in Grants, New Mexico, is part of a family that has been in the state since before it became an official part of the union. His mother, a Texas native raised in Oklahoma, met his father in college. After raising their family, she pursued a successful career as an attorney, a journey that inspired Paul Dominguez to value lifelong learning and perseverance.

Paul Dominguez was also an athlete in high school, where he met his future wife, and he carries many of those lessons from the field into his legal practice today. After beginning his college career at the University of New Mexico, he transferred to the University of Houston, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and English. In 2006, he married his high school sweetheart, and together they are raising two talented children—both of whom are accomplished athletes and academically gifted in high school and middle school.
